I am an artist and teacher.  I've worked with students of all ages from the teeniest kids to adults and I still get nervous before every class. 

I'm married to a carpenter.  We are raising 3 kids, have way too many dogs (okay, just 3 but they sure do fill up the living room)  and an old house we are fixing up bit by bit. 

I have lots of jobs and I love them.  I run a small art studio where I see students, teach the occasional class, and do my own artwork.  Through my studio, I have two outside jobs every week, one as an artist-in-residence at a cancer treatment hospital and another running an art class in a residential addictions treatment center.  I've also been the exhibits coordinator for a children's museum and although I am working there less time lately, I'm still there!

I'm learning how to ski.  My kids are making me.
